Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve West by Mary Murphy, artist. Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve West is an original hand painted abstract landscape oil painting on canvas 20" x 20" x 3/4" with a 1.25" black frame. This colorful, painting was created en plein air (French for "open air") to capture the emotions of the landscape and bring them to you for your enjoyment. It is contemporary in style with expressionism overtones.
The two entrances to the CC Preserve are east and west of Interstate 75 in North fort Myers, FL. and many kayakers come here to put in to the Creek, then into the Caloosahatchee River and all the way across the state, if desired. The painting shows the many grasses and trees surrounding this small creek at this point and could enhance the walls of a bedroom, dining room, den or hall.
