Coronado Park by Mary Murphy, artist. Coronado Park is an original hand painted abstract landscape oil painting on canvas 20" x 20" x 3/4" with a 1.25" black frame. It was created en plein air (French for "open air") and captures the emotions of nature and brings them to you for your enjoyment. The painting is playful, somewhat abstract and contemporary in style, with expressionism overtones.
Coronado Park is a medium size family park in Cape Coral, FL, and I went there one day to paint. The trees show that it is a welcoming and shady place for family and friends to picnic and play. A child would love thinking about skipping through the shady places, playing "hide and seek" behind the trees, or just enjoying the park. This painting might be well suited for a den, family room or child's room.
