Koreshan Park by Mary Murphy. Koreshan Park is an original hand painted abstract landscape oil painting on canvas 20" x 20" x 3/4" and was painted at Koreshan Park in Fort Myers, FL. It was created en plein air (French for "open air") and captures the emotions of nature and brings them to you for your enjoyment. The painting is playful, somewhat abstract and contemporary in style, with expressionism overtones.
The Koreshans were a small group that flourished in the early - to - mid 20th century and believed that we live on the inside of the sphere we call Earth. The painting could be placed anywhere that would enjoy color - a hall or den, or on the walls of a professional whose clients are children.
