Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve East by Mary Murphy, artist. Caloosahatchee Creeks Preserve East is an original hand painted abstract landscape oil painting on canvas 20" x 20" with a 1.25" black frame. This inexpensive, colorful, painting was created en plein air (French for "open air") to capture the emotions of the landscape and bring them to you for your enjoyment. The Preserve is east of North Fort Myers a short distance. It covers a large area and has a boardwalk for hiking and taking your kayak down to the river. This is a large live oak and provides lots of shade, and with its thick trunk and long branches going in all directions, it has character. There's nothing plain about this tree! It could serve as a focal point in a room, or play a minor role as part of a collection in living room, dining room, bedroom or den.
